Using Aletheia

Aletheia is an invitation-only beta for reflecting on childhood experiences and generating personalised writing. Features, availability and outputs may change. An invitation grants personal access; keep your invitation, sign-in links and account secure. Do not bypass access controls, misuse the service, or submit unlawful content or other people’s confidential information.

You retain your rights in the material you provide. You allow the processing needed to provide the features you request, subject to the Privacy Notice and your separate data choices. You may download and use your outputs; AI output may be inaccurate, non-unique, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. No obligation to send a letter, reconcile, forgive, or take any other personal action follows from using Aletheia.

Service limits and emotional safety

Aletheia is a reflective writing tool, not therapy, diagnosis, treatment, professional advice or an emergency service. Its assessments and AI outputs do not establish what happened, identify a disorder, or determine whether someone is safe. Review generated writing against your own experience; you decide what to keep, change or discard.

Reflecting on difficult experiences can bring up distress. You can skip an experience, pause or stop. Safety screens and optional check-ins offer guidance; they are not monitored by a clinician and do not send an alert to a support service. Use appropriate professional or urgent support when you need it. Support resources remain available.

These limits explain what the service can do. They do not ask you to waive rights, excuse negligence, or accept harm, and they do not promise a therapeutic benefit.

Privacy and optional participation

The Privacy Notice explains processing and your rights. Before the assessment, we separately ask for explicit consent to process sensitive assessment and wellbeing information. Feedback participation has its own notice and choices. You can withdraw assessment consent or close your account without participating in feedback.

Access, changes and contact

You can stop using Aletheia at any time and manage or delete your account in Account. We may restrict access for misuse or security reasons, or end the beta. Where reasonably possible, we will explain material service changes and give you an opportunity to export saved information before ending access.

These Terms cover the current beta, not a paid subscription or future purchase. Material changes will be presented for renewed acceptance. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. Contact support@aletheia.page about the service or these Terms.
